Ephesus: Ephesus is an ancient city founded around 1500 BC. The city has a rich history and has been inhabited by many different cultures throughout the centuries, including Greeks, Romans and Byzantines. The city is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the post popular tourist attractions in Turkey, second only to Istanbul. It is home to some of the best-preserved ruins in the world, including the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. During your visit to Ephesus, you’ll see the well-preserved Library of Celsus, which houses more than 120.000 parchment rolls, and the impressive theatre which was used for gladiator battles during Roman times. Our knowledgeable guide will provide you with insights into the daily life and culture of the ancient people who once inhabited the city, adding a fascinating layer of depth to your experience. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to take memorable photos of the beautiful ruins, fountains and mosaic art.

House of the Virgin Mary: During your visit, you’ll also have the opportunity to visit the House of the Virgin Mary. This small stone house is located on a hillside just outside of Ephesus and is believed to be the place where the Virgin Mary spend her final years. According to Christian tradition, St. John the Apostle brought the Virgin Mary to Ephesus after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and she lived in this house until her death. The house was discovered in the 19th century and has been a pilgrimage site for Catholics and Orthodox Christians ever since.
